To put in place a highly skilled and professionally capable team that will provide a full-service Technology, Engineering, Construction, Project Management and Consulting Solutions. To assemble a multi-discipline staff that will include engineers, construction experts, and technicians. The company seeks to differentiate itself through the quality of service it will provide to enhance value-add to clients and contribute significantly to the growth of the South African Economy and support job creation policies.

Executive management

Currently the company is run and managed by its founder and Managing Director, Thabo James Lukhele, who is a qualified CIS (Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators) professional. He is a well-respected businessman & entrepreneur. His previous experience includes being a company turnaround specialist, amongst others. He was a financial director of a major chemical company that was supplying mines with cementitious products that were used underground for the support of mashing and lacing of side walls and the roof. Thabo was also a Trustee member of Murray and Roberts Cementation company for the period of 10 years. He is currently managing other small to medium business, an entrepreneur at heart and knows what it takes to start and grow a business. He has spent more than 10 years in entrepreneurship incubating, growing, running, and managing successful businesses. There is no doubt that San-Maite will be successful under his leadership. Has more than 30 years of combined experience in the corporate world and in the entrepreneurship.

Management Consultants.

Kenneth Kok: a qualified mechanical engineer, with more than 20 years in the engineering and manufacturing operations. He was the Project Manager at DCD Heavy Engineering, responsible for the execution and delivery of projects to the customers. He is excellent on processes; hence he was responsible for all quality processes and procedures within the company. He also held senior engineering positions at FL Smith and Greif SA.

Kenneth Kok has an M-Tech and B-Tech degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He is a certified PMP from PMI in USA and has certificates in project management and general management. He has been working in engineering field for the past 25 years. He has worked in sectors such as steel manufacturing, FMCG, mining and heavy engineering. He has vast experience gained in design, plant maintenance, contract, project management as well as operations and plant management.

Louw Kriel: Director of Designing and Consulting Company, a seasoned mechanical engineer with more 30 years of design and management experience. He held several international positions in similar type of companies and does understand the requirements to make this company a success. He had several years working for Caterpillar, both in South Africa and abroad as Product Design Head. Louw has mechanical engineering degree.

He is bringing in a wealth of experience in product design/ engineering field to San-Maite as consultant. Louw has many years working in fabrication / heavy engineering industries, and he will be an asset to the company if needed, particularly in the start-up phase.

Jacobus van Dyk: Director of Designing and Consulting Company: is a professional engineer with more than 10 years of experience within engineering design, consulting, and factory support. He had previously worked at Hatch, Kentz and SNC Lavalin (all global engineering consulting firms) as well as DCD Ring Rollers holding senior engineering positions. Over the years, Jacobus has developed a thorough understanding of how to lead engineering teams and development projects.

Jacobus holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jacobus is a professional member of ECSA. He previously focused on the design and development of custom machines, pressure equipment and piping within the mining and process plant environments.
